# Send a test event

`POST /api/v1/webhooks/{webhookId}/test`

Sends one signed sample event (`test: true`) to the webhook now and returns the receiver's status code. One attempt, no retries; at most one test per webhook every few seconds. Defaults to a TikTok `comment.created`. A type the platform does not send is 422 unsupported_for_platform.
