# Cancel an active video chain

`POST /api/longform-video/cancel-chain`

## Request

Cancels an in-progress video chain. If a clip is currently generating, cancellation is deferred until it finishes.

## Request body

## Response `200`

Chain cancelled

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `deferred` boolean: true if cancel will execute after current clip finishes

## Other responses

- `403`: Not the owner of this chain
- `409`: Chain cannot be cancelled in current state
