# Get invoice

`GET /api/v1/invoices/{invoice_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Fetches a single invoice by its Foundry UUID or Stripe invoice ID
(`in_xxx`). The caller's org membership scopes visibility — an invoice
belonging to an org the caller cannot access returns 404.

- `invoice_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Invoice detail

- InvoiceDetailResponse: Public invoice detail DTO. Renames `amount_total_cents` to `amount_cents` for consistency with the rest of the billing surface.
  - `amount_cents` integer, nullable: Total amount in the invoice's currency, in the smallest unit (e.g. cents).
  - `currency` string, required: Three-letter ISO 4217 currency code.
  - `experiment_id` string, nullable: Foundry experiment UUID linked to this invoice, if any.
  - `hosted_invoice_url` string, nullable: Stripe-hosted payment page URL. `None` for draft invoices.
  - `id` string, required: Foundry invoice UUID.
  - `status` string, required: Stripe invoice lifecycle state. One of `"draft"`, `"open"`, `"paid"`, `"void"`, or `"uncollectible"`.
  - `stripe_invoice_id` string, required: Stripe invoice ID (`in_xxx`).
  - `stripe_quote_id` string, nullable: Stripe quote ID that generated this invoice, if any.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing authentication token
- `403`: Insufficient permissions to view invoices
- `404`: Invoice not found or not accessible
- `500`: Internal server error
