# Search Instagram music and original sounds for a Reel

`GET /social-accounts/{id}/instagram-audio`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://post.adaptlypost.com/post/api/v1`
- URL: `https://post.adaptlypost.com/post/api/v1/social-accounts/{id}/instagram-audio`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns audio Meta has cleared for third-party publishing, which can differ from what the Instagram app shows. Leave out `searchQuery` to get what is trending. Only works for Instagram accounts with `supportsInstagramAudio: true`; pass the chosen `audioId` in `instagramConfigs[].audio`.. Requires the `posts.draft` permission.

## Other responses

- `400`: The account is not connected through Facebook, or Instagram rejected the search
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: The key's role does not hold `posts.draft`
- `404`: Account not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
