# Delete a recurring post

`DELETE /recurring-posts/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://post.adaptlypost.com/post/api/v1`
- URL: `https://post.adaptlypost.com/post/api/v1/recurring-posts/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Stops the series and deletes its upcoming scheduled post. Posts that already went out are kept. Requires the `posts.draft` permission.

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: The key's role does not hold `posts.draft`
- `404`: Recurring post not found
