# Freshness of the analytics data, per connected account

`GET /analytics/sync-status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://post.adaptlypost.com/post/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Tells you when each account was last synced, whether a sync is running now, how far back the data goes (`historyHorizonAt`) and whether an account must be reconnected before analytics can be read from it (`needsAnalyticsReconnect`). Accounts on platforms without analytics (Mastodon, Telegram and Tumblr) are not listed.. Requires the `analytics.read` permission.

  - `syncInProgress` boolean: True while any account is queued or syncing
  - `lastSyncedAt` string, date-time, nullable
  - `historyHorizonAt` string, date-time, nullable: Earliest date any connected account has data for
  - `platforms` AnalyticsPlatformSyncStatus[]
    - `platform` 'FACEBOOK' | 'INSTAGRAM' | 'THREADS' | 'TIKTOK' | 'TWITTER' | 'BLUESKY' | 'LINKEDIN' | 'PINTEREST' | 'YOUTUBE' | 'MASTODON' | 'TELEGRAM' | 'GOOGLE_BUSINESS' | 'TUMBLR'
    - `connectionId` string: The account `id` from /social-accounts
    - `accountName` string, nullable
    - `status` 'IDLE' | 'QUEUED' | 'SYNCING' | 'FAILED'
    - `lastSyncedAt` string, date-time, nullable
    - `lastErrorMessage` string, nullable
    - `historyHorizonAt` string, date-time, nullable: Oldest publish date this account has data for. Earlier dates have no data rather than zero activity
    - `lastDiscoveryAt` string, date-time, nullable
    - `needsAnalyticsReconnect` boolean: True when the account was connected before analytics permissions existed. It stays parked until the user reconnects it (a connect link works) and approves the extra permissions

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: The key's role does not hold `analytics.read`
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
