# Queues a person merge from the VA IDs of the surviving person, the merged person and the office's primary agent

## Response `200`

The merge was queued; returns the merge id

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid Request
- `409`: A merge is already in progress; returns the blocking merge id
- `500`: The merge could not be queued
- `503`: A read of the merged person's records failed; nothing was queued, so the request can be retried
