# Mint a widget token (Acuris site pages only)

`GET /widget/token`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.acuris-geo.com`
- URL: `https://api.acuris-geo.com/widget/token`
- Auth: none required

Mints the short-lived token that authenticates the on-page address
widget's `/suggest` calls. **Origin-locked to `acuris-geo.com` pages**
— third-party integrations cannot call it and use API keys instead.
Each token carries a per-token call quota; minting is velocity-capped
per IP.

## Response `200`

Token minted.

  - `expires_at` integer, required: Unix expiry timestamp.

## Other responses

- `403`: Origin is not an `acuris-geo.com` page.
- `429`: Per-IP minting velocity cap reached.
