# Create a new account

`POST /api/child-accounts/v1/`

## Request

## Request body

- CreateAccountRequestDto
  - `account_name` string, required: Display name for the account
  - `cname` string, nullable: Custom domain (CNAME) for the account
  - `name` string, required: Contact or account owner name
  - `email` string, email, required: Primary account email
  - `notification` string, required: Notification email address for account-related alerts
  - `language` string, nullable: Account language name (e.g. polish, dutch, english)
  - `timezone` string, nullable: IANA timezone identifier (e.g. Europe/Amsterdam, America/New_York)
  - `snapshot` string, nullable: Deprecated. Use snapshot_id instead.
  - `currency` string, nullable: Currency code (e.g. USD, PLN, EUR)
  - `billing_interval` integer, required: Billing interval in months
  - `products` ProductDto[], required: Product configuration. Array must be non-empty.
    - `addon` boolean, nullable
    - `code` string, required
    - `tier` string, required
    - `name` string, nullable
    - `version` integer, nullable
    - `entitlements` union, required
      - ProductEntitlementDto[]
        - `code` string, nullable
        - `limit` object, nullable
          - `included_units` integer
          - `purchased_units` integer
          - `period` string, nullable
        - `pricing` object, nullable
          - `recurring` boolean, required
          - `subtotal` integer, required
      - object
  - `profile` string, nullable: Billing profile identifier. Go to update card/billing settings, copy the string_id from the URL.
  - `country` string, required: ISO country code (e.g. US, PL, GB)
  - `snapshot_id` integer, nullable: ID of the snapshot to clone from. Obtain from GET /api/child-account-snapshots/v1/ endpoint.

## Response `200`

Account created successfully.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Authorization error
- `404`: Not Found
- `422`: Unprocessable Content
