# Append an owner observation to an execution_unknown write

`POST /v1/dashboard/jobs/{jobId}/reconciliations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://actiondock.app`

- Auth: API key in cookie `actiondock_dashboard`

Requires the signed-in owner session and same-origin Origin header; API keys cannot write observations. Reuse the client UUID and content after an uncertain save. A correction requires a new UUID. No job transition, provider request, or callback is triggered. Reference text is never fetched.

  - `id` string, uuid, required: Client-generated UUID; reuse with the same content when retrying a save.
  - `outcome` 'applied' | 'not_applied' | 'inconclusive', required: Owner-reported provider outcome, not a change to the job status.
  - `evidence` string, required: What the owner checked at the provider and what they observed. Do not include credentials.
  - `reference` string: Optional provider operation ID or evidence URL. Stored as text; never fetched.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid evidence or unexpected input field.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or revoked workspace API key.
- `403`: Cross-origin request forbidden.
- `404`: Resource not found or outside the caller's workspace.
- `409`: Job is not an unknown write, or observation ID was reused with different content.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded (rate_limit_exceeded).
