# Add video by URL

`POST /videos/add-by-url`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://acornonaut.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://acornonaut.app/api/v1/videos/add-by-url`
- Auth: `BearerAuth` (a scheme the document does not define)

Add a YouTube video by URL. Creates a playlist if needed and optionally queues card generation.

## Request body

- AddVideoByUrlRequest
  - `url` string, required: YouTube video URL
  - `playlistName` string: Target playlist name (creates if missing)
  - `autoGenerateCards` boolean

## Response `200`

Video added

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
