# Ratings

`POST /v1/get_ratings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mcp.acesapi.com`
- URL: `https://mcp.acesapi.com/v1/get_ratings`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Use for our Elo ratings, highest first: overall, or on one surface (hard, clay, grass). Players with a rated match since active_since (default a year ago) and at least 10 rated matches. Tour: atp (default) or wta; on the shared endpoint pass league: "wta" for the WTA. Costs 2 credits.

## Request body

- object
  - `surface` 'hard' | 'clay' | 'grass' | 'carpet': Rank by the surface rating instead of overall.
  - `active_since` string: Only players with a rated match since this date, YYYY-MM-DD (default one year ago).
  - `limit` integer: Max players (default 50).
  - `league` 'tennis' | 'wta': League. Defaults to tennis. One of: tennis, wta.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid arguments.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
