# Delete subscription by id

`DELETE /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.acculynx.com/webhooks/v2`
- URL: `https://api.acculynx.com/webhooks/v2/subscriptions/{subscriptionId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes a subscription.

Once deleted:
- The subscription will no longer receive any webhook events
- The subscription cannot be recovered
- Any new events for the topics it was listening to will not be sent

Use this endpoint when you no longer need a particular webhook subscription.

## Path parameters

- `subscriptionId` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

The resource was deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - The server cannot process the request due to a client error. Common causes: - Invalid request format - Missing required fields - Validation errors in the request data
- `401`: Unauthorized - Authentication is required or has failed. Common causes: - Missing API key - Invalid API key - Expired or deactivated API key
- `404`: Not Found - The requested resource does not exist. Common causes: - Invalid subscription ID - Subscription has been deleted - URL path contains typos or incorrect values
