# Get Job Insurance

`GET /jobs/{jobId}/insurance`

## Request

This endpoint returns the job's insurance information.

## Path parameters

- `jobId` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

OK

- JobInsurance
  - `insuranceCompany` JobInsuranceCompany: An Insurance Company defined for this location. Insurance Companies can be managed on the web in the location's Account Settings.
    - `id` string, uuid: The unique Identifier for this Insurance Company.
    - `name` string: The name of the Insurance Company.
    - `isActive` boolean: Indicates if the insurance company is active or inactive.
  - `customInsuranceCompanyName` string: A job can have an Insurance Company that is not from the list managed in Account Settings. In this case, `insuranceCompany` will be null.
  - `damagelocation` string: Where the damage is located.
  - `dateOfLoss` string: The date the damage occurred in UTC.
  - `claimFiled` boolean: Has the claim been filed? Must be true if `claimFiledDate` is populated.
  - `claimFiledDate` string: The date the claim was filed in UTC.
  - `claimNumber` string: The identifier of the insurance claim given by the insurance company.
  - `hasPaperwork` boolean: Is the paperwork for this job collected?

## Other responses

- `400`: The request was malformed or contained invalid field values. Check the error response body for details.
- `401`: The API key provided is missing, invalid, or has been deactivated. Verify your API key and try again.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found. Verify the ID in the request path is correct and that the resource exists.
- `412`: The request could not be completed due to the failure of a required precondition.
