# The rate limits on this account and connection, with what is used in the current window.

`GET /v1/limits`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.50heads.com`
- URL: `https://api.50heads.com/v1/limits`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://auth.50heads.com/authorize`, token URL `https://auth.50heads.com/token`; client credentials, token URL `https://auth.50heads.com/token`)

Any credential; no scope needed. Counts are approximate (a brake on runaway loops, not a quota). The MCP server's own limits are listed with `used: null`.

## Response `200`

OK

    - `appliesTo` string, required: What counts against it.
    - `per` 'account' | 'connection', required
    - `limit` integer, required
    - `windowSeconds` integer, required

    - `resetSeconds` integer, required: Seconds until the current window ends.
  - `note` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: No key or token, or it expired or was revoked.
- `403`: The key or token lacks the scope (`insufficient_scope`), or the action is not allowed.
- `429`: Too many requests; wait for Retry-After.
