# The connection behind this key or token: its scopes, its caps and what it has spent today and this month.

`GET /v1/connections/current`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.50heads.com`
- URL: `https://api.50heads.com/v1/connections/current`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://auth.50heads.com/authorize`, token URL `https://auth.50heads.com/token`; client credentials, token URL `https://auth.50heads.com/token`)

Any key or token can read its own; no scope is needed. This is what MCP `balance` uses to show an agent its cap. 404 `not_found` for a first-party session, which has no connection.
