# Permantently delete a filament, if the filament has not been used in any existing prints.

`DELETE /api/Filaments/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.3dprintlog.com`
- URL: `https://api.3dprintlog.com/api/Filaments/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://3dprintlog.auth0.com/authorize`, token URL `https://3dprintlog.auth0.com/oauth/token`)
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Returned if the filament was deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `400`: Returned if the filament is unable to be deleted since it has been used in a print.
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Returned if the current user cannot access the filament.
