# Patch Setting Details

`PATCH /v1/settings/1nceos/{name}/details`

## Request

Patches a single detail field of a 1NCE OS setting. Exactly one field is accepted per setting:
- `ADVANCED_CELL_TOWER_LOCATION`: `mode` (only `CUSTOM` is accepted).
- `CELL_TOWER_LOCATION`: `frequency`, the global cell-tower resolution frequency in minutes as an integer within 60 to 1440 inclusive.

- union: Patch options for setting details. Exactly one field is accepted: `mode` for ADVANCED_CELL_TOWER_LOCATION, `frequency` for CELL_TOWER_LOCATION.

    - `frequency` integer: Global cell-tower resolution frequency in minutes (60-1440 inclusive).

## Response `200`

An object describing the updated setting, with `details` narrowed to the patched field.

- PatchSettingDetailsResponseschema: Response to patching the details of a setting. The details object contains only the field(s) that were patched.
  - `customerId` string, required: Internal customer identifier.
  - `name` string, required: Name of setting.
  - `state` 'ENABLED' | 'DISABLED', required: State of the setting.
  - `details` PatchSettingDetailsResponseschemaDetails, required: Patched details of the setting. Contains only the field(s) included in the request body (e.g. mode or frequency).
    - `mode` 'CUSTOM' | 'DEFAULT': Operating mode of the setting.
    - `frequency` integer: Global cell-tower resolution frequency in minutes (60-1440 inclusive).

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `429`: Too Many Requests
- `500`: Internal Server Error
