# Disable a specific secret version

`POST /v1/vaults/{vault_id}/secret-version-disable/{path}/{version}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.1claw.co`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Disables a version so it can no longer be read. The version is
retained for audit purposes but returns 410 on read attempts.

## Response `204`

Version disabled

## Other responses

- `404`: Resource not found
