# Send one synthetic span to the configured endpoint

`POST /v1/org/settings/otel-export/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.1claw.co`
- URL: `https://api.1claw.co/v1/org/settings/otel-export/test`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Re-resolves the endpoint at send time and pins the connection to the resolved address, with redirects disabled. Rate-limited to 5 per minute per org: even a validated endpoint is an outbound request the caller chose the target of.

The collector's HTTP status for the probe

  - `ok` boolean

## Other responses

- `400`: Not configured, or the send failed
- `401`: Unauthenticated
- `402`: Requires the Team plan or higher
- `403`: Not an owner or admin
- `429`: More than 5 test sends this minute
