# Start a card-on-file trial runtime setup

`POST /v1/onboarding/guided/trial/setup-intent`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a Stripe SetupIntent for the org's customer so the guided
onboarding wizard can collect a card with Stripe.js — no charge unless
the trial runtime is kept past its trial window.
