# Threshold key generation, round 2

`POST /v1/keys/tss/keygen/round2`

## Request

## Request body

- object
  - `session_id` string, uuid, required
  - `client_round1` string, required: Base64 FROST DKG round-1 package from participant 2 (the device share).
  - `recovery_round1` string, required: Base64 FROST DKG round-1 package from participant 3 (the recovery share), also run on the device.

## Response `200`

The vault's round-2 packages, one for each device participant

- object
  - `session_id` string, uuid
  - `server_round2` string: Addressed to participant 2.
  - `server_round2_for_recovery` string: Addressed to participant 3.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Authentication required or invalid
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Resource already exists or conflict
