# Register a mobile device

`POST /v1/auth/devices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.1claw.co`
- URL: `https://api.1claw.co/v1/auth/devices`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Register a new mobile device for the authenticated user. Human-only.
The device public key is used for step-up authentication challenges.

## Request body

- RegisterDeviceRequest
  - `name` string, required: Human-readable device name (e.g. "Kevin's iPhone")
  - `platform` 'ios' | 'android', required
  - `public_key_pem` string, required: PEM-encoded public key for step-up challenge signing
  - `attestation_blob` string: Optional platform attestation (Apple DeviceCheck / Android SafetyNet)

## Response `201`

Device registered

- RegisterDeviceResponse
  - `device_id` string, uuid, required
  - `attestation_verified` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
