# Get public API stats

`GET /v1/stats`

## Request

Get lightweight public statistics used by website/product surfaces. This is a no-auth public utility route, not a legacy alias.

## Response `200`

Public statistics

- StatsResponse: Public lightweight API/site statistics.
  - `l4_open_orders` integer: Current L4 open-order count used by public status/product surfaces.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request: a parameter, symbol, interval, cursor or time range failed validation. See `error_code`.
- `429`: Rate limit, concurrency limit or monthly credits exceeded. See `error_code`.
- `default`: Any other error. The body is an `ErrorResponse`; branch on `error_code`. A 503 (`upstream_unavailable`) carries `Retry-After`.
